Illustrated maps commissioned for a print magazine feature — not a standalone product, but part of a story. The maps needed to work alongside an interview with designer Rana Salam, highlighting her personal picks across London and Beirut. The challenge was making each city feel distinct and alive while staying consistent as a pair, and keeping the illustration style editorial enough to sit comfortably on a magazine spread.
Both maps ran in the magazine as a full feature. The kind of project where the illustration isn't decoration — it is the story. Two cities, one visual language, and a very personal guide hidden inside.
